My Horse Box launches My Horse Sox – a new riding sock collection!
When did equestrian footwear become so straight-laced? Technical fabrics and performance features are great, but we’re on a mission to create something vibrant and fun for every horse rider, at an affordable price point but with plenty of personality. We think our first collection fits the bill perfectly, and we hope you are going to love them!
Design #1 – Reach For The Stars
What’s that old saying; get bucked off seven times, stand up eight? If there’s something that unites all equestrians it’s that we’re a determined bunch. Our turquoise Sox are here to remind you to never stop trying!
Design #2 – Horsing Around Again

Design #3 – Just One More
There’s nothing mellow about this yellow: these Sox are for tenacious riders who try, try, and try again. When you love your horse and love your sport, there’s always time for Just One More jump, or gallop, or nose kiss, or carrot…
The idea of My Horse Sox started as a bit of an in-joke between Jonathan and I. We always said that if we ever created riding socks, we’d have to call them My Horse Sox as an homage to the name of our subscription boxes. Eventually it became less of a joke and actually seemed to be a great idea. That’s how we’ve ended up launching the Kickstarter to turn our designs into reality.
Kickstarter works by taking a ‘pledge’ from customers in exchange for the delivery of their chosen product once the manufacturing process is complete. In essence it’s a pre-order system. It allows us to raise capital and gauge customer preferences before the garments are made. My Horse Sox has a project goal of raising £3,000, and pledgers who back the project will only part with their money once the goal is met.
You can pre-order one pair of socks by pledging £7 or more, and you can pre-order gift packs of 3 pairs (£18) and 9 pairs (£48). There is also a wholesale option for retailers.
If you fancy buying yourself or a loved one a pair (0r nine!), you can preorder now at www.kickstarter.com.
